today announces the opening of its pop-up store in San Diego, California

on Friday, August 19th. Occupying more than 5,000 square feet

at The Mall at University Town Centre, the pop-up store will be the

largest of any PBteen location. The San Diego store location was created

specifically with teens in mind. Will offer design service experts

to help customers design their ultimate bedroom, study space, lounge and

dorm room.

“We're excited to open the largest of our PBteen stores in San Diego,”

said Jennifer Kellor, executive vice president of merchandising for

PBteen and Pottery Barn Kids. “This new location will allow our

customers the localized opportunity to experience our product assortment

and work with design experts to discover fun, easy and creative ways to

design their dream space.”

To celebrate the opening, PBteen has partnered with local influencers, McKenna

Blue and Jaysea

DeVoe to host a series of events. In addition to in-store events,

customers will have the opportunity to win PBteen gift cards on opening

day with values ranging from $50-$250. One customer will win a “golden

ticket” $500 gift card.

Saturday, August 20th Yoga Sessions will be held at 11:30

a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Meet and practice with the youngest certified

yoga instructor, Jaysea DeVoe age 14, from Encinitas based SeaVibes Yoga

studio. Jaysea will be hosting PBteen style sessions focused on creating

the ultimate zen space to practice yoga at home. Following the style

session join Jaysea in a 30 minute yoga class. Customers are encouraged


to reserve a spot in the yoga classes.
