VANCOUVER, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nautilus, Inc. (NYSE: NLS), a leader in innovative fitness equipment, continues to provide ground-breaking products for commercial fitness facilities and specialty markets with the introduction of the Octane Fitness Max Trainer® machine. The new product was unveiled at the Octane Fitness® booth (#2917) during the International Health, Racquet and Sportsclub Association (IHRSA) Convention.

Intuitive to use, with no adjustments required, the Max Trainer machine is designed to drive the ultimate ROI for every level exerciser. The 14-minute Max Interval workout has time-crunched exercisers pushing hard, recovering and repeating to build stamina and blast fat. Research shows that Max Interval workout users may burn up to 43 percent more calories than users using a rower; and up to 26 percent more calories than users using a standing elliptical, both at self-pace.*

“We’re very excited to debut the Max Trainer for the commercial and specialty markets. The launch of this new product is a great example of how we’ve taken advantage of expanding unique modalities to reach more consumers across our key channels,” said Ryan Simat, vice president and general manager of commercial and specialty,...

fingertip control adjustments that maximise convenience.

Equipped with Octane’s 10-inch LCD touchscreen smart console, the

premium MT8000 offers a new, dynamic calorie metre, which displays

instant details on calories burned per minute and the user’s best

output, thereby encouraging greater effort. Exercisers can select from

multiple different feedback screens to customize their motivation. Plus,

the console features internet access and several entertainment choices.

For even more entertainment selections, facilities can add an optional

personal viewing screen (PVS) or wireless 900 Mhz receiver with

integrated keypad controls.

The MT8000 includes the challenging Max 14 Interval workout, a 14-minute

rigors session that maximises effectiveness and efficiency, along with

the new Floors program that builds endurance as users climb the Empire

State Building, once or multiple times, from 100-1000 floors. Also

included among the 14 workouts are Octane’s advanced 30:30 Interval and

MMA regimens.

The machine’s compact footprint makes it easy to fit in cardio areas,

and clubs can take advantage of asset management technology to evaluate

usage, equipment placement and preventative maintenance needs. Priced

beginning at $6,698 MSRP, the MT8000 machine will be available in June

2019.
